GolfNorth Junior Ambassador Program

Eligibility
Applicants must be between 8-17 years of age to apply. If you are 13 years of age or under, parental consent is mandatory. Applicants must be living in Canada and in proximity to a GolfNorth course.

Information Collection
The application collects personal information, including but not limited to, junior golfer’s name, parent/guardian name, and city. Proof of age may be required, and by selecting ‘Yes” to providing proof of age, you agree to present such proof if requested.

Parent/Guardian Consent
Applicants under the age of 17 must have explicit parent/guardian consent to apply. By selecting ‘Yes’ to parent/guardian permission, you confirm that you have obtained such consent.

Social Media Information
Applicants may be required to provide social media handles or URLs. If under 14 years old, social media accounts must be parent-monitored. By submitting social media information, you acknowledge and confirm its accuracy and possess ownership of the account.

Steps on Social Media

Applicants must follow @golfnorthproperties and @golfnorthjuniors on Instagram.
Applicants must post a photo on their profile, tagging both @golfnorthjuniors and @golfnorthproperties, and using #GNAmbassadors in the caption to be considered.
Applicants must like and comment on the official announcement post on @golfnorthjuniors on Instagram
Providing the link to the posted photo on Instagram is mandatory to be considered for the program.

Application Submission and Selection
The information provided in the application must be accurate and truthful. Falsifying information may result in disqualification. GolfNorth reserves the right to review applications and select Junior Ambassadors based on criteria such as content quality, creativity, and adherence to the application process. Successful applicants will be notified of their selection. Participation in the GolfNorth Junior Ambassador program is voluntary.

Perks and Compensation for GolfNorth Junior Ambassadors
GolfNorth Junior/Teen Membership: Successful applicants will receive a GolfNorth Junior/Teen Membership at the Conestoga level for the 2024 season. Membership benefits may include access to golf facilities, events, and exclusive opportunities. Full membership details are available at golfnorth.ca/memberships.

Swag Bag: Each GolfNorth Junior Ambassador will be presented with a swag bag filled with exclusive GolfNorth branded merchandise. The swag bag may include apparel, accessories, and other golf-related items to enhance your golf experience.
Exclusive Team Member Appreciation Day: Ambassadors will be invited to an Exclusive Team Member Appreciation Day at an undetermined date. This day will include unique activities, networking opportunities, and a chance to meet and bond with fellow ambassadors and GolfNorth representatives.
Complimentary Entry Fees: GolfNorth Junior Ambassadors will enjoy complimentary entry fees into GolfNorth Junior Events (non-academy related) throughout the 2024 season.
Feature Opportunities: Ambassadors will have the chance to be featured in GolfNorth promotional materials. Opportunities for scheduled photo and video shoots will be provided.
Program Duration: The perks and compensation outlined above are valid for the duration of the 2024 golf season. GolfNorth reserves the right to modify or update the perks at its discretion.
Ambassador Responsibilities: GolfNorth Junior Ambassadors are expected to actively engage in the program, fulfilling content creation and participation expectations. Ambassadors are encouraged to represent GolfNorth Juniors positively in all interactions and activities.
Revocation of Perks: GolfNorth reserves the right to revoke or modify the perks of any ambassador who fails to adhere to the program’s terms and conditions, displays inappropriate behaviour, or engages in activities detrimental to the GolfNorth brand.
Non-Transferable: The perks and compensation provided are non-transferable and exclusive to the selected GolfNorth Junior Ambassadors.
Acceptance: By accepting the position as a GolfNorth Junior Ambassador, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions outlined regarding the perks and compensation.
